Get help with sign-in or access
You see “We can't reach your calendar”
When cannot reach its servers. It keeps trying automatically, and your data is safe. Check your connection and choose Try again. If the message stays, wait a little and try again.
If the screen says You're offline, connect to the internet. Signing in for the first time requires a connection.
You see “Sign in didn't finish”
Choose Try again to start a new sign-in attempt. If the message says there were too many attempts from your network, wait a minute first. Use the newest sign-in code when prompted.
If either message keeps returning, email hey@when.day with the message, the approximate time, and your device and browser. Never include a sign-in code.
The sign-in code did not arrive
Check that you entered the address your account uses, and check your spam folder. If the screen offers Resend, request a new code and use the newest one.
If no code arrives, email hey@when.day with the address and the approximate time you requested the code. Never send a code to anyone, including support.
You see the waitlist
Your account is not active yet. Open an invite link or enter an invite code from someone who uses When.
If the waitlist says “That code didn't work,” the code was already used, has expired, or was withdrawn, or it is one of your own codes. Each code works once. Ask the person who invited you for another code.
An invitation to a shared calendar is different from an invite code. It gives access to that calendar and does not activate an account.
Your calendar says View only
Your free trial ended without a subscription, so you can open and export everything but not add or change events, periods, or calendars. Choose Subscribe in the line at the top of your calendar to edit again. See Plan & billing for what stays available.
If you made changes offline before the trial ended, the sync panel says “Your trial has ended. This change syncs once you subscribe.” When keeps those changes and syncs them after you subscribe.
A shared calendar is missing
Sign in with the address the invitation was sent to, open your Inbox, and accept the invitation under Requests. If no invitation is there, ask the owner to check that it was sent to that address and has not been removed.
You cannot use your authenticator app
Use the recovery options on the sign-in screen. If none work, contact support.
