Track a project
A project uses three things: a calendar to keep work apart from other schedules, a period to show the project's dates, and a label to mark its events. The example project here is a product launch.
- Create a calendar named
Work, or open the one you have. - Create a period named
Product launchthat covers the project's dates. - Create a
Product launchlabel and add it to the project's meetings, work blocks, and deadlines. - Add the standup as a repeating event on its weekdays. If the project has an end date, set the repeat to end then.
- Add each deadline as an event and set a reminder on the ones you want an alert for.
- To review the project, open Filters and choose the label under Labels.
The label is what ties an event to the project. The period only marks the dates, so an unrelated event inside the period is not part of the project unless you label it.
