Open Settings → Plan & billing to see your plan and your billing controls.

Founder Plan

When has one plan, the Founder Plan, billed yearly with a 30-day money-back guarantee. It includes everything in When: calendars, events, periods, repeating schedules, sharing, widgets, search, reminders, and AI chat.

Free trial

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial of everything, with no card needed. The trial starts the day your account gets access. Under Current plan, the Free trial row shows the days left and when it ends.

Choose Subscribe during the trial and you're charged when the trial ends, not that day.

When the trial ends

If you haven't subscribed, your calendar becomes view-only. You can still open everything, change your settings, and export your data from Settings → Data & privacy; Plan & billing shows when your trial ended and has an Export button that takes you there. Nothing you made is removed. Buttons for things you can't do while view-only, such as Draw, adding an event, or subscribing to a Discover calendar, stay greyed out. You can still unsubscribe from Discover calendars. Choose Subscribe in Plan & billing, or at the top of the menu on your phone, and everything is editable again.

Renewal

The Your plan row shows when your plan renews. We email you a month before each yearly renewal, and in the last week a line at the top of your calendar says when your card is charged and how much. If you subscribed during your trial, the email comes three days before the first charge.

Manage or cancel billing

As a subscriber, choose Manage billing to open the billing portal. Change your payment method, download invoices, or cancel there. After you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the year you paid for. Settings then asks what's missing. Answering is optional, and it tells us who to welcome back when it ships, such as the mobile app.
