Week view
Choose Week in the top bar to see your schedule on a time grid. All-day events and periods appear in the lane above the grid.
Create and change events
- Create: Double-click an empty time slot, or drag across several slots to set the duration. The event uses the time zone the calendar shows. An event you add late in the day, by double-clicking or with right-click Add event, ends by midnight.
- Open: Click an event.
- Move: Drag the event to another time or day.
- Resize: Drag the event's bottom edge.
Changes save automatically. Locked events and events from read-only calendars cannot be moved or resized.
When Other hours are collapsed (Settings → General), the events in them are listed under the collapsed bar. Drag one onto the grid to give it the time under the pointer, or into the all-day lane. Nothing can be dropped into collapsed hours; let go over the bar to leave the event where it was.
Dragging one occurrence of a repeating event moves the whole series. See Repeat an event.
Change the range
Use the zoom controls to show between 1 and 30 days. On desktop, press + or ↑ for more days and - or ↓ for fewer. ⌥O zooms out to an overview.
← and → move by the visible range. ⇧← and ⇧→ move one day. Hold Space and drag to pan.
Select several events
Hold Shift and drag a box, or Shift-click individual events. Then choose an action in the selection menu. See Edit multiple events.
