Keyboard shortcuts
Most calendar actions use ⌥ (Option) with a letter or number, so a stray keystroke never creates or moves anything. Arrow keys, +, -, /, and ? work alone. Shortcuts are off while you are typing in a field, and they cannot be reassigned.
On Windows, use Alt where a shortcut shows ⌥ and Ctrl where it shows ⌘.
Press ? in the app, or open Settings → Keyboard shortcuts, to see this list.

Selection follows the events rendered in Week, Month, Column, or the phone List. A day move keeps the event's wall-clock time in its own time zone. Repeating events move as a series. Locked and read-only events stay in place, and all-day events move by days. Use ⌘Z to undo a move.
